Support for Families at the McKay K-8

Please consider supporting my friend Bailey's students at the Donald McKay K-8 School in East Boston. From Bailey:

We serve over 750 amazing students who have continued to embrace our school values of kindness, respect, effort, and responsibility throughout this remote learning environment and this challenging year. 

As you may know, East Boston is one of the Boston neighborhoods hardest hit by COVID-19. We are seeing the direct effect this is having on our students and their families. Many of our families have been impacted by the loss of income, food insecurity, and the possibility of being evicted.   

We have started a GoFundMe to support our McKay families through this holiday season. Any amount will help us support as many families as we can, but here are some specific ways your generosity could help:  

$25: hat and gloves for a student 
$50: a winter coat or household cleaning supplies
$100: a family’s groceries for one week
$400: a family’s groceries for one month
